Prof. Kim Hyo-geun, who is widely known as a management scholar who composes music, is a professor at the Department of Business Administration at Ewha Womans University (1992-present) and a beloved Korean art-pop song composer (1981-present). He has always been innovating research-lecture-industry-academia-management-administration, composing-lyric-writing-recording-performance, and has been striving to take on the creative challenge from nothing as a business artist (management artist) and artist of life. In the 1990s, when digital informatization and knowledge economy were barren, he created information strategy planning and digital business strategy methodology, disseminated them to the industry, and created knowledge management and new knowledge research. As a composer of familiar Korean songs such as 'Snow', the grand prize song of the 1st MBC College Song Festival, 'My Soul Becomes Wind', a commemorative song for the Sewol ferry disaster, 'First Love', a wedding song for the new generation, and a corona healing song 'Even if life deceives you' He opened the era of popular songs by pioneering the 'Art Pop' genre that simultaneously pursues both artistry and popularity. Recently, he is experimenting with a new music play as a composer and co-script of the art-pop creative opera , and a composer of the art-pop creative musical . He studied 'Economics' at the Department of Economics at Seoul National University, 'Strategic Management' at the Department of Business Administration at the same graduate school, and 'Management Information Science' at the University of Pittsburgh Business School. Recognizing the ideological and cultural limitations of the methodology, in the early 2000s, he studied Eastern Philosophy, Korean Philosophy, and ancient history at the Korea Institute of Spiritual Culture (now the Academy of Korean Studies), and began to combine the humanities and business administration. Dreaming of the globalization of Korean philosophy and new business management based on it, and overcoming the limits of existing scientific business management with the creative principle of art that has been immersed in itself as the first attempt, and guaranteeing the innovative growth leading the 4th industrial revolution and the happiness of the members of the organization. Presented a new paradigm and methodology of 'management art' (2017).
