He is a composer and conductor. He studied Composition at Seoul National University and he achieved his master's degree in Chicago Conservatory. He performs as a member of Chang-Ak Composition Association, the Association of Korean composers and also he a president of the association of Korean artsong composition. He is a vice president of Korean Music Meeting. His career has been through a faculty of Sejong University and now Choongnam University. He published book , masterpiece
